This pattern makes a triangular lace shawl with a long wingspan and two unequal sides, a boon for styling.  It is simple enough to be a beginner lace project but interesting enough for an experienced knitter, and works up very quickly.

You can use lace, light fingering or fingering weight yarn.  A great project your partial skeins or that wonderful single skein that you have in your stash.

Because the length of the scarf grows much more rapidly than the width, even small amounts of yarn can make an impressively long scarf, while still having enough width at the peak to be warm around the neck.

Try playing with different combinations - make one with strips of different colours, or make two in complementary colours and wear them together.

This pattern is free with purchase of yarn for project - if you are checking out with yarn for this project in your cart, just add a note that you would like a free copy of this pattern.
