Fibre Company Amble
Amble is a new sock yarn from The Fibre Co., designed to be as soft and beautiful as it is eco-friendly. It uses a touch of high-quality recycled nylon for durability, and a newly available alternative to the standard chlorine processed washable wools. The end result is a soft yet durable yarn from Merino wool and alpaca fibres processed with an eco-friendly anti-shrinkage Easy-wash treatment. It is named Amble to reflect the kind of slow relaxed walking enjoyed in the English Lake District where The Fibre Co. is based. The shades are borrowed from the successful palette of their Cumbria yarn with the cream and all heathers using a natural ecru Suri alpaca whilst the others use a natural brown Suri alpaca.
